    OwnJournal is Now on Google Play

    We're happy to share that OwnJournal is now available on Google Play. If you use an Android phone or tablet, you can install the app directly from the Store and start writing in a private, encrypted journal that stays in your own cloud.

    Same app, one more way to get it

    Nothing changes about how OwnJournal works: your entries live in your chosen cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox, or Nextcloud), optional end-to-end encryption keeps them unreadable to anyone but you, and there are no ads. You now just have a familiar, trusted place to download and update the app on Android.
